Lievland – Tradition Brought Back to Life
Lievland is located on the western slopes of the Simonsberg between Stellenbosch and Paarl and is one of the most historic estates in the region. Since 2017, the historic winery has been carefully revitalized under the guidance of MAN Family Wines.
The wines of Lievland combine classic grape varieties with traditional winemaking – resulting in elegant wines with depth and a strong sense of place.

Winemaker of Lievland: Riaan Möller
Riaan Möller is the Head Winemaker at Lievland Vineyards. His early experience at small wineries sharpened his eye for detail, while working at larger estates taught him to stay focused under pressure. Today, he aims to craft classic varietals using traditional methods – with the goal of striking the perfect balance between old-world elegance and new-world vibrancy.
