The nose is complex and expressive, offering aromas of green guava, blackcurrant and pink grapefruit, complemented by subtle hints of marzipan biscotti that add layered depth.
On the palate, the wine is full and rich, echoing the aromatics on the nose. Vibrant acidity, structural clarity and a zesty persistence provide freshness and length.
Fermentation in 400-litre barrels and nine months of lees ageing with regular stirring add texture and complexity. The Director’s Reserve White is drinking exceptionally well now, yet shows clear ageing potential with proper cellaring.
