In honour of L'Avenir's former winemaker and pioneer Francois Naudé, the estate's Pinotage wine was made. The L'Avenir Single Block Pinotage is one of the most iconic South African wines and already convinces with its deep red colour. A wonderful, floral, fruity bouquet unfolds when the bottle is opened. Heavenly scents of violets and dried cranberries rises to the connoisseur's nose. Enveloped by a hint of chocolate, the fresh and inviting olfactory experience is completed. The taste of the Pinotage is also convincing all along the line. The purity of fruit and the rich texture, combined with well-matured oak make this red wine wonderfully complex. Especially the fresh cherries and a slightly sweet spiciness complement each other perfectly and make every sip a pleasure. Therefore, you should definitely try the flagship wine once pure or with dishes of duck or fillet in a juicy cranberry sauce.

L´Avenir - South Africa meets France
