The intense blackberry aromas in the bouquet are complemented by notes of cigar and coffee, as well as prominent nuances of nutmeg and anise. On the palate, the La Motte Franschhoek Syrah reveals restrained elegance with a fine and harmonious finish.
The full-bodied character of the La Motte Franschhoek Syrah pairs perfectly with rich, flavorful dishes such as grilled meats, spicy vegetables, or game dishes. It is especially well-suited to meals featuring stewed fruits and bold, aromatic spice notes, such as pepper-crusted steaks or meats in a sweet sauce. Additionally, it wonderfully complements dishes with chutneys and fruity sauces.
