Rich aromas of cocoa, blueberries, and cherries then unfold, accompanied by fine tannins. The wine presents itself as elegant, refined, and perfectly balanced. The harmony of fruit and oak notes gives the Anthonij Rupert Merlot a wonderfully long, smooth, and silky finish.
This red wine aged for 24 months in barrels and an additional three years in the bottle - making it an exceptional indulgence even on its own, with only 11 barrels produced. However, the Anthonij Rupert Merlot also pairs beautifully with dishes featuring dark meats, game, or savory flavours.
