Full-bodied and rich on the palate, the Rickety Bridge Paulina's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon impresses with incredibly great fruit notes, while the silky tannin structure provides a lovely mouthfeel. The oak nuances are also well integrated on the palate and the red wine, which was matured in barrique for eighteen to twenty months, lingers on for a long time. The Rickety Bridge winery is located in the immediate vicinity of Franschhoek, a place known for its excellent South African wines and tasty delicacies. Located between the Dassenberg Mountain and the Franschhoek River, the vineyard blends perfectly into an almost picturesque panorama. Rickety Bridge is a winery with a long tradition. The history goes back to the 17th century, when the manor was part of the La Provence farm. The farm was originally managed by Huguenot farmers and it was not until 1990 that the current Rickety Bridge winery was founded.
