The Lanzerac Syrah presents itself in a dark red hue in the glass and unfolds a multi-layered bouquet that combines aromas of white pepper, fynbos and coriander with the fruity scent of plums. On the palate, the red wine also scores with its complex character. Fruity notes of ripe dark and red berries are surrounded by spicy undertones. Enjoy the Lanzerac Syrah, which was matured for sixteen months in French oak, either neat or with dishes of dark meat or game. A nice cheese platter is also a very good choice with this multi-faceted red wine.

The Lanzerac Winery
The
Lanzerac winery spreads across 150 hectares, from which a third is reserved for
the vines. Noble grapes such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage and
Cabernet Sauvignon find optimal conditions. Premium wine has been produced here
since the 17th century, and despite changing owners the winemakers always
succeeded in producing products of the highest quality.There
is even a luxurious hotel on the Lanzerac estate. The numerous guests can relax
here and enjoy modern South African cuisine in several restaurants, together
with a Lanzerac wine.
