Product information "Kanonkop Pinotage 2023"
On the nose, it reveals an intense aromatic profile of plums, blackberries and mulberries, complemented by rich vanilla notes, subtle smoke and roasted nuts.
On the palate, this Pinotage is powerful, dense and elegant, with flavours of plums, cherries, black figs and pomegranate. Dark chocolate, blackberries and spicy oak add further depth.
The 18-month maturation in French oak gives the wine structure, richness and beautifully integrated tannins. With an ageing potential of 20 to 25 years, this Pinotage is a great South African red wine for special moments of enjoyment.
