Product information "Lanzerac Keldermeester Versameling Prof 2023"
PROF 2023 combines Pinot Noir from the cool Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley with Cinsaut from the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch. The result is an elegant and finely structured red wine with remarkable freshness and South African character.
On the nose, the wine reveals expressive aromas of red berries and ripe red fruit, supported by subtle spicy nuances. The palate is smooth, refined and harmonious with a silky texture and underlying complexity leading into a seamless finish.
Both grape varieties were harvested and vinified separately before being blended after approximately one year of maturation in older French oak barrels. Additional maturation after blending adds balance, finesse and elegance.
With only 1201 bottles produced, PROF 2023 is one of Lanzerac’s rare boutique releases, combining innovation with historical inspiration.
