- Complex with beautiful fruity and spicy notes
- Elegant, rich and long-lasting on the palate
- Has already been honoured by wine critics
The tannins are elegantly balanced, leading to a long and lingering finish that reveals a subtle sweetness with a hint of licorice. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, this wine pairs perfectly with dark meats and spicy dishes, yet is also a pure delight on its own. Interestingly, the name of this complex red wine originates from the soil type of the vineyard that provided the grapes for the Chamonix Greywacke Pinotage.
