Product information "Lanzerac Chardonnay 2025"
On the nose, this full-bodied Chardonnay displays prominent citrus aromas complemented by lemon, ginger, vanilla and delicate white floral notes. The combination of fresh fruit and subtle spice creates a complex yet elegant aromatic profile.
On the palate, the Lanzerac Chardonnay is balanced, soft and full-bodied, with fruit and lively acidity working harmoniously together before leading into a lingering finish.
For added depth and complexity, half of the wine was fermented in 300-litre Burgundy-style oak barrels, while the remainder was fermented in stainless steel. The barrel-fermented portion then spent 7–8 months on the lees with weekly bâtonnage.
