Product information "Dornier Donatus Red 2021"
In the glass, the wine shows an intense dark colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and subtle tobacco leaf, supported by spicy oak and dark fruit notes.
On the palate, the Donatus Red is powerful, refined and beautifully structured. Silky tannins, concentrated fruit and elegant spice create a harmonious mouthfeel and a long, complex finish.
The hand-harvested grapes originate from selected vineyard parcels on the north-western slopes of Stellenbosch Mountain. After separate fermentation of each variety, the wine matured for 24 months in French oak barrels before only the finest components were selected for the final blend.
A bold premium blend with structure, elegance and exceptional ageing potential.
