Lanzerac Le Général is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (63%), Merlot (22%), Malbec (10%) and Petit Verdot (5%), aged for 20 months in French oak - an ideal pairing with herb and pepper-crusted roast beef, braised lamb shoulder with fennel and orange, or a refined chocolate dessert featuring molten fondant, cocoa sorbet, white chocolate mousse and cherries. By the way, the name of the wine pays tribute to a general named Lanzerac, a close friend of Elizabeth Katherina English, who named her estate after him.
