A great wine comes from a vineyard with a great view, says Spier's cellar master Johann Jordaan, referring to the powerful yet elegant Spier 21 Gables Cabernet Sauvignon. The dark ruby red colour and the multi-layered bouquet are impressive proof of this. Aromas of blackcurrants, violets and cedar flow into the nose and on the palate, the full-bodied red wine delights with its great structure and an opulent finish. Therefore, the Spier 21 Gables Cabernet Sauvignon, which was matured for 26 months in French oak, is a real treat on its own, but it can also be combined well with spicy or dark meat.

Spier Wine from Stellenbosch
The Spier winery is located in the 'wine heart' of South Africa: Stellenbosch. The excellent soils and good rainfall during the winter months, paired with the expertise and knowledge of the winemakers, make for a constant high quality. Spier Wine with a Long Tradition

The first grapes had been pressed here in 1712, and since 1767 Spier is a registered vineyard. Nowadays, the yard plays a key role in South Africa's success on the wine market, not least due to the high quality standards that are achieved here.
Amongst others, Spier offers the Signature Range which excites with its easily salubrious and fruity wine. Two premium collections, 21 Gables and Creative Block, are aimed at the wine lover. Both collections have an excellent quality in common, which has been awarded numerous times.
