Deep ruby in colour, the bouquet reveals aromas of red fruit, cherries, and a touch of sweet oak. On the palate, it is smooth, juicy, and well-balanced, offering soft, rounded tannins, ripe fruit, and a gently sweet finish.
The grapes were sourced from 20–24-year-old vines planted on Hutton, Clovelly, and Kroonstad soils in the Bottelary area. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 12–15 months in French oak barrels, enhancing depth and structure.
A versatile and characterful Cape Blend – ideal for barbecues, hearty dishes, or relaxed evenings with friends.
