In the glass, this single-varietal Merlot shows a vibrant colour and an expressive bouquet of raspberries and cherries. On the palate, fresh fruit flavours blend beautifully with gentle toasted notes from French oak, delivering a juicy and elegant experience.
The grapes were sourced from Stellenbosch, Wellington, and Agter-Paarl and harvested at optimum ripeness. After fermentation, the wine matured for 8 to 10 months on lightly toasted French oak staves, which adds a fine texture and soft tannins.
A perfect match for tomato-based pasta dishes, brisket, grilled steaks or cheese bakes. Also a great choice with dark chocolate desserts.
