On the palate, this blend of Shiraz (48%), Merlot (11%), Pinotage (10%), Cabernet Sauvignon (9%), Petit Verdot (8%), Malbec (8%), and Cabernet Franc (6%) is soft and layered, with flavours of plums and black cherries, enhanced by notes of pepper and liquorice. Stylish and approachable, the Babylonstoren Babel Red Blend delights with a seductive finish that invites another sip.
The red wine aged for twelve months in French oak and is a perfect companion to braised oxtail with dumplings, beef, or grilled meats.
