On the nose, it reveals aromas of dark and red fruits, wrapped in notes of herbs, vanilla, violets, and a hint of clove.
On the palate, the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Shiraz (23%), Merlot (7%), Mourvèdre (6%), Sangiovese (5%), Cabernet Franc (4%), Petit Verdot (3%), and Barbera (2%) is beautifully balanced, full-bodied, and elegant. Its fine structure and smooth texture make every sip a true experience.
Soft tannins create a pleasant mouthfeel, while 20 months of ageing in French oak give the wine extra depth and the potential to mature further. Waterford Estate The Jem Magnum is already a true pleasure to drink, but it can develop even more character over time.
Waterford Estate The Jem pairs beautifully with lamb, beef fillet, or grilled vegetables. It also goes very well with a creamy mushroom risotto.
