Intense aromas of dark chocolate and black pepper unfold on the nose, wrapped in notes of black cherries, plums, and cassis.
On the palate, the red wine shows its fruity character with flavours of red and dark cherries.
Soft tannins give this finely structured blend a silky mouthfeel before it finishes with a spicy note.
The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Shiraz (20%), Merlot (5%), Malbec (5%), Cabernet Franc (5%), and Petit Verdot (5%) matured for eighteen months in French oak and is already a highlight in the glass when enjoyed on its own.
Spicy dishes with game or dark meat are also a highly recommended pairing for the Ernie Els Proprietor’s Blend.
