The Jacoba Six Red Blend shines in a powerful red in the glass and immediately wraps every red wine lover around its finger with its fruity, spicy aroma. Well-structured, with soft and well-integrated tannins, the Jacoba Six Red Blend unfolds its complexity. Enjoy the elegant red wine blend, dominated by Shiraz and matured for eighteen months in French oak, best with spicy or dark meat. The red wine is a creation of the Jacoba Six collection, whose classically elegant wines are a declaration of love to the diversity of South Africa. Jacoba Six – a pure piece of South Africa

The collection dedicated to Jacoba Six is a declaration of love to South Africa's beautiful and diverse nature, which is reflected in the special and high-quality wine creations of this line. In addition, the collection commemorates a woman whose name hardly anyone knows: Jacoba Six was the wife of none other than Simon van der Stel, who became the first governor of the Cape in 1679 and is considered the founding father of the South African winemaking tradition, which is still successful today – after all, he was instrumental in advancing viticulture. Inspired by Jacoba Six, the collection is a homage to South Africa, to the multifaceted cuisine that was shaped by the immigrants, and a tribute to the warm-hearted hospitality that visitors to the Cape receive. The exclusive white and red wines in this line combine all of this – and are simply a pure piece of South Africa in a bottle.

Jacoba Six – a homage to South Africa's growing regions

For the two white wines – a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon as well as a Chardonnay – and the two red wines – a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Red Blend – only the best grapes from Constantia and Stellenbosch were used. The granite soils and the proximity to the coast in Constantia provide mineral notes, while the deep and weathered soils of Stellenbosch ensure a good structure and a fruity and aromatic character. Therefore, the multi-faceted creations inimitably succeed in expressing the unique terroir of their respective growing regions. Complex and full-bodied in flavour, these elegant wines are not only a real treat on their own, but also prove to be wonderful food companions and thus remind us of South Africa's incredibly complex cuisine, which has so many delicacies in store.

Jacoba Six – classic and elegant wines for highest enjoyment

The wines of the Jacoba Six collection are characterised above all by their classic elegance – which is also reflected in the artistic design of the labels. The ornate gold and silver ornaments give the wines a noble and stylish appearance. This is further emphasised by the partial use of wax corks for the Chardonnay and embossed printing on the bottle for the White Blend. This wine line therefore knows how to offer the connoisseur something for the eye and the palate like hardly any other – and thus provides white and red wine lovers with the highest pleasure in every respect.
