Fresh and fruity - that is the Cavalli Unoaked Chenin Blanc. Wonderful aromas of pears, green apples and white peach already unfold in the bouquet. Nuances of peach blossom give the white wine a floral note. On the palate, the Cavalli Unoaked Chenin Blanc delights with its fruity nuances of melon, quince and lemons, which are surrounded by a fine but crisp acidity. Thanks to its uncomplicated and elegant character, the white wine is a treat on its own, but it also accompanies light dishes quite excellently. Try the Cavalli Unoaked Chenin Blanc with fish or poultry with a salad, for example.

Cavalli - Enjoy Stellenbosch with all your senses

World-class wines that clearly reflect their terroir in Helderberg - that is the trademark of Cavalli Estate. The young winery has quickly developed into a true lifestyle experience in the heart of Stellenbosch, known not only for its wines but also for its cuisine, architecture and original South African landscape. Over a hundred hectares of vineyards and gardens, a riding facility, an art gallery and a restaurant, which was the country's first restaurant to win the Green Star Award thanks to its sustainable design, also extend over the winery.

Cavalli - out of love for horses

Sustainability plays a major role at Cavalli, as evidenced by the passively designed buildings and the ten hectare garden, which preserves the Cape's unique flora and fauna and is home to over 60 bird species. But they are not the only animals living on the winery, because the heart of Cavalli beats not only for good wine, but also for horses. The four-legged animals are present everywhere even in the name of the winery - "cavalli" means "horse" in Italian. This close connection is also reflected in the three wine collections, because all creations from the Estate Range, the Premium Range and the Passions Range as well as the two flagship wines bear the name of a horse or are reminiscent of terms from the world of equestrian sports. The winery also has a large indoor riding arena and modern stables for 20 animals, which can be visited during a guided tour. Experienced riders can even taste Cavalli wines on the horseback. Those people, for whom the happiness of the earth is not found on a horseback, can experience the fruity and elegant white wines and the expressive complex red wines in the tasting room. An accessible rosé and a fine sparkling Méthode Cap Classique complete the portfolio of the winery.

Cavalli - food for body and soul

A good wine needs good food - and that is what the Cavalli Restaurant offers with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The small menu with six appetizers, main courses and desserts each focuses less on quantity and more on quality. This is also appreciated by the visitors, as 4.5 out of 5 stars on the Tripadvisor rating portal show. The restaurant was also named South Africa's most stylish restaurant at the "Eat Out" award and is one of the most popular destinations in the Winelands. The fantastic view of the Helderberg Mountains is included for dessert. The art gallery also offers food for the soul. The exhibition shows works by South African artists, which are effectively staged by the sophisticated use of light. The winery is also a great and popular setting for wedding celebrations - and definitely worth a trip to enjoy all the beauty of the Winelands and the excellent wines.
