The Leopard's Leap Classic Collection Unwooded Chardonnay has not matured in oak, but is surprisingly full-bodied. The bouquet unfolds fresh citrus aromas with a hint of pear and buttery undertones. On the palate, the balanced white wine scores with fruity nuances of ripe melon and lemon zest, surrounded by wonderful biscuit notes, before culminating in a long finish. The Leopard's Leap Classic Collection Unwooded Chardonnay is a beautiful and above all versatile food companion thanks to its well integrated acidity. You should definitely try it with seafood or fish dishes, but this white wine also goes very well with pasta or a delicious cheese platter.
