The winery Hidden Valley is located on the southwest coast of South Africa. Less than 50 kilometres away from Cape Town, home in the wine region Stellenbosch, the owner Riaan Stassen manages the estate.

The focus is laid completely on the production of top quality premium wines. Two ideal and different terroirs in Stellenbosch and Elign are guarantors for the continuity of wine cultivation at Hidden Valley - besides the state-of-the-art wine cellar. The vineyards are located to utilise the weather conditions and under the influence of the microclimate, a long ripening process is enabled. The wine portfolio of Hidden Valley is multi-award-winning and very extensive. In total, sevendifferent grape varieties are cultivated at the estate. The focus is clearly laid on the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. These three are wonderfully suited to be used in delightful blends.
The flagship is the distinctive Hidden Valley Gems. A delightful South African blend in the style of Bordeaux wines which can be enjoyed after two years maturation in the bottle. A complex aroma of ripe berries, crunchy cassis, fresh herbs with a hint of earthy tones makes this product a true taste experience with a grand finish.
