Grande Provence with Wine of the Highest Class

Grande Provence stands for excellent wine from South Africa. The winemakers and wine farmers exclusively use noble grapes and choose their wines with great care. Year after year, the Grande Provence wines receive numerous awards and deliver the proof for the winemakers' passion and devotion.

The Grande Provence Winery

The winery Grande Provence is located in the Franschhoek valley and uses over 40 hectares of cultivation area. For over 300 years, enthusiastic winemakers have been growing high-quality grape varieties to produce excellent red and white wine. In the south and east, mountain ranges cut off the valley, which makes for pleasant temperatures and more rainfall. No wonder that numerous wineries have settled here and Franschhoek became the unofficial centre for gourmets. The manor house originates from the 18th century and impressively displays the estate's glorious history. At the same time, the yard-owned restaurant explores new paths and serves modern dishes in an industrial-themed atmosphere. This is how visitors can literally taste Grande Provence' tradition as well as its modern character that evolves with the times.

Grande Provence Wine Has Been Awarded Numerous Times

Grande Provence wine is amongst the favourites at international wine competitions every year. John Platter stars, the Mundus Vini, the Michelangelo or the Veritas Awards are standard for the vineyard. Rightly so, the Grande Provence team puts all its efforts in the wine cultivation and ripening – and the simple wine label lets the wine speak for itself.
