The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal’s Dance is a fresh and full-bodied Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc that excites gourmets with its vivid acidity as well as its green and tropical fruit notes.
The Wine in DetailThe Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal’s Dance is part of the Short Story Collection, a range with which the winery wants to honour important personalities from its long history or special events and tell their stories. The Jackal’s Dance owes its name to the German Willem Barend Lubbe who spotted a pack of jackals roaming the farm, mistook them for wolves and named the farm De Wolvendace, what means “The Dance of the Wolves”. The grapes of this Sauvignon Blanc originate from a single vineyard and the wine flows with a clear and bright green colour into the glass. Whilst green notes of ripe figs and gooseberries become apparent in the bouquet, there are tropical fruit nuances and a fresh, crisp acidity on the palate which peaks in a lingering finish. With its complex and full-bodied character, the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal’s Dance will stay in your memory long after the last sip.Goes with …Gourmets serve the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal’s Dance with light dishes such as poultry or salad.
