Chardonnay is one of the most popular white varieties and creates creamy up to buttery and full-bodied wine that tastes fruity as well as like honey and caramel. Pinot Noir delivers light up to medium heavy red wines and features a sweet and fruity taste.

The Winery

The good soils and the micro climate make for ideal cultivation conditions for top quality wines. Lourensford has quickly become one of the most sought-after wineries in South Africa that cultivates not only vines but also apples, pears and plums and pays great attention to sustainability.

Storage

The Lourensford Méthode Cap Classique spent some months on the yeast; a small part even in French oak before it kept on maturing in the bottle. In total, the MCC spent 57 months on the yeast. You can enjoy it right away or store in the cellar for some time.
