The Winery
The winery Klein Constantia can look back on a truly long history. It has its origin in the winery Constantia that had been founded by Simon van der Stel. Back in the days it was so vast that it covered the whole Constantia valley. After multiple splittings it is nowadays divided into several small estates. Early in its history, the Constantia wines had enjoyed great international popularity – even the great Napoleon Bonaparte loved the predecessors of the Vin de Constance.
