Goes with …

Gourmets serve the Ken Forrester Three Halves at special occasions. Dark meat and piquant dishes perfectly harmony with this blend. A great meal companion yet also a true taste adventure on its own.

Grape Variety

There are three grape varieties in the Ken Forrester Three Halves: Mourvèdre, Grenache and Shiraz. Just as the winemaker intended, the ‘three halves’ form a blend which is more than the sum of its parts. Mourvèdre contributed the earth tones, Shiraz the poignancy and Grenache the fruit.

The Winery

The South African winery Ken Forrester is well-known for its fantastic Chenin Blanc creations. However, the red wine The Gypsy already proved that the winemakers know the whole spectrum of viticulture. With the Ken Forrester Three Halves, they consequently continue on this path and created a noble blend of the highest class.

Storage

Just as is right for such a first class red wine, the Ken Forrester Three Halves matured in French oak for 18 months. This made it very storable yet it is also a pleasure when enjoyed right away.
