The Wine in Detail
The Allée Bleue Shiraz presents itself to gourmets with a rich, red colouring in the glass. Exciting aromas of spices, violet and chocolate fill the air and leave a very complex impression. On the tongue, too, the red wine is very intense. Smooth, velvety nuances of a variety of berries are supported by a slight spice and complete the beautiful taste experience.

Goes with …
The Allée Bleue Shiraz goes with many kinds of dishes. One serving suggestion is the combination with grilled meat, game or dove. The Shiraz is also a great pleasure with menus with plenty of black pepper or intense herbs.

Grape Variety
The grape of the Allée Bleue Shiraz is called Shiraz in the New World and delivers spicy, storable red wines there that enjoy great popularity. Especially aromas of black fruits and pepper are typical for this vine. In France, the grape variety bears the name Syrah and stands for full-bodied, fragrant wines with a deep, rich colour.

The Winery
With the winemaker Van Zyl du Toit, the winery Allée Bleue employs an experienced producer who benefits from his years of experience and the great soils of the estate when creating high class wines such as the Allée Bleue Shiraz.

Connoisseurs can enjoy the Allée Bleue Shiraz right away on its own or with a delicious menu. Due to its good storage suitability, the red wine can spend some years in the cellar though and will reveal its full character there. After the harvest, the red wine matured in new and some old oak barrels from France and America for 14 months.
