How can I find my wine?

There are many possibilities to find your wine. Have a look at our shop and choose from the categories. Choose whether you want to have a white or a red wine. Or you can search for a certain grape variety, such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot. Each wine has its distinctive style, which is why you can search selectively for a light & fruity or a full & soft wine. You already have a favourite winery? No problem, single wineries can also be selected and we only display the wines from the chosen yard. Our shop also allows choosing a wine for a dish. Click on the "Goes with" icon and find a wine that goes with beef or a salad. You also have the possibility to insert a search term directly. The search box can be found in the navigation bar on the right. Give it a try! You can enter a grape variety, a winery or just "fish" and all wines that match your search will be displayed.


Do I have to register to purchase a wine?

You can purchase a wine as a guest. A registration is not necessary, so you can buy your wine quickly and without hassle. Yet registration does have its advantages. A registered customer can save several addresses in the customer menu and speed up the ordering process. You can also get an overview about which wines you have already ordered at CAPREO. Your favourites can be found again quickly and ordered in no time. Registered customers also receive exclusive offers as loyalty bonus. It pays off to register at CAPREO!


How long does the delivery take?

The moment the ordering process is complete, we prepare the wines for delivery. Order before 2pm and generally the wine is ready to be shipped to your house the same day, otherwise at the next working day, at the latest. It then takes about two or three days until you receive the wine in Germany. Unfortunately, it takes a bit longer to the rest of Europe. A parcel takes about three days to the UK, to have it delivered to Sweden can take up to five days. We ensure to prepare the wines for shipping as quickly as possible.


Can I have the wine delivered to a certain date?

You can request a certain delivery date. We ship the wine the day you want us to. That enables you to plan in advance and maybe organise a festivity. Order the wine, state your delivery date and we take care of the rest.


How much is the shipping?

The shipping costs depend on the amount of bottles and the country you want us to ship the wines to. 18 bottles within Germany cost 8 Euro for example; the same amount of bottles shipped to Sweden is 15 Euro. Have a look at our detailed chart about shipping costs.


Can my neighbour accept the parcel?

For orders within Germany this is possible via paket.de. It is a free-of-charge service from DHL where you can define a shipping address for your order in case you are not at home. Unfortunately, it is not possible for your neighbour to accept the parcel for all other European orders. CAPREO's advice: Make use of our requested delivery date, so you can plan in advance.


What is paket.de?

Paket.de is a free service from DHL for our German customers. Here one can define a certain address where the wines should be deliverd to in case you aren't at home. This can be a neighbour or even a hidden place behind your garage. You can also let the parcel be delivered to your favorite DHL-store and pick it up right after work. Also, you will receive a short notice via SMS or e-mail with the delivery date. If you want, you can then delay the delivery up to four days directly via DHL and paket.de. German customers should register at paket.de.


Is it possible to track my order?

With your shipping confirmation you also receive a tracking number including a link. Click on it and you can find out exactly where your order is.


How can I pay for the wine?

There are several payment options at CAPREO. The payment method that is safest and most widely used on the Internet is PayPal, which is why we recommend it. You can also pay with your credit card or by advance payment, for example. Have a look at our overview of payment methods for more detailed information.


How and when do I receive the invoice?

You receive the invoice the moment we ship the wines. Then we send an e-mail with the invoiced in PDF format attached.


How safe is my data?

CAPREO attaches great importance to the safety of your data. That is why we use a 128bit SSL ciphering and only work with trusted partners who guarantee safety.


Can my billing country and delivery country be different?

Unfortunately, at this point it is not possible for the billing country and delivery country to differ. Within the same country the addresses can be different, though.


I lost my password, what should I do?

No problem. Click on "Forgot Password" at registration and insert your e-mail address. We then send you a password.
